Hi I am a year six student at yaldhurst model school I am making a book report for my home learning blog. This book is called family friends and furry creatures it is a tom gates book. He worked really hard on his family tree he made up names for like the wrinklies for his grandparents. He was sent home to do his family tree and found out lots of facts. his mum and dad got together over a piece of cake. hope you enjoyed my book report.

Stars in the sky

Hello my name is Ashlee I am a year six from yaldhurst model school the year 5 and six's we drew a pattern that we liked. And used black paint then we let it dry then we put some colored paint onto the piece of paper. once we had finished the black made it really pop and this is what it looks like bye have a really good day

perfect personification

Hello my name is Ashlee I have something really spectacular to show. Resonantly I have been working on learning about personification. Here are some sentences.

The green plant grew like a haunted green castle waiting for his master to appear.

The purple flower greeted the guests with with white eyes and a devil smile.

The yellow flowers eyes stayed up at me before I could blink.

The pink flower had a flower out side but an evil inside.

Cross country practice

Yesterday we had cross country practice and I ran 7 laps around the field. It was really tiring and I had swimming and gymnastics after. And today my legs are really sore. But when we ran around the field we got a jelly beans.

 

what is the best age and why

I think the best age is 15 because you can stay home when your parents are not there. And you can also have friends over and have your own phone.
this is so unfair that we don't get our own phone even at ten here is a story I have made 


One day I said to my mum oh mummy can I please get a phone I work so hard but the mother said  no you have to much things think about the people in need then I said please just a cheap one then mother gave in she said ok but she had a little trick up her sleeve the night before christmas  she made up something that she raped in red paper and a rainbow ribbon and the morning she opened it and got a surprise oh this isn't what I mean .

World war 1

Today I learned about world war 1. I also found out some facts about world war 1 and I was so surprised that they used so many animals and most of them were killed here are some facts about the first world war

Did you know that nearly one million horses were used in world war one. All of that meat can feed about 1.5 million full grown men. When the horses died the soldiers used there mane and tail to hold up rocks and sand bags. For in the trenches and they used there winter and summer cote to create blankets. To keep the soldiers warm.
