perfect personification

Hello my name is Ashlee I have something really spectacular to show. Resonantly I have been working on learning about personification. Here are some sentences.

The green plant grew like a haunted green castle waiting for his master to appear.

The purple flower greeted the guests with with white eyes and a devil smile.

The yellow flowers eyes stayed up at me before I could blink.

The pink flower had a flower out side but an evil inside.

Cross country practice

Yesterday we had cross country practice and I ran 7 laps around the field. It was really tiring and I had swimming and gymnastics after. And today my legs are really sore. But when we ran around the field we got a jelly beans.

 

what is the best age and why

I think the best age is 15 because you can stay home when your parents are not there. And you can also have friends over and have your own phone.
this is so unfair that we don't get our own phone even at ten here is a story I have made 


One day I said to my mum oh mummy can I please get a phone I work so hard but the mother said  no you have to much things think about the people in need then I said please just a cheap one then mother gave in she said ok but she had a little trick up her sleeve the night before christmas  she made up something that she raped in red paper and a rainbow ribbon and the morning she opened it and got a surprise oh this isn't what I mean .

World war 1

Today I learned about world war 1. I also found out some facts about world war 1 and I was so surprised that they used so many animals and most of them were killed here are some facts about the first world war

Did you know that nearly one million horses were used in world war one. All of that meat can feed about 1.5 million full grown men. When the horses died the soldiers used there mane and tail to hold up rocks and sand bags. For in the trenches and they used there winter and summer cote to create blankets. To keep the soldiers warm.

  

Super science

Over the past month the whole class have been working on science. We got to choose out of the digestive system, circulatory system and the skeleton muscular system. Out of the three options that we were given I chose the digestive system, we had to make quite a lot of key points and then we made a poster. My poster was a rainbow background with black and white splatters on it. Now I am making a google doc .here are one of my key points here are some photos too.

We need a digestive system because otherwise we can not digest the food properly.

• Breaks food into smaller chemicals
• blood absorbs chemicals
• the process of the digestive system is called digestion
• the fiber in fruit and veges isn’t digested

Gumboot day.

This Friday Rimu class and the hole of New Zealand participated in Gumboot Friday.
We also raised money for the people that suffer mental health conditions.
the total amount of money we raised is: 141.30$.

wow that a lot of money. The way we raised all of this money is we all put on a pair of Gumboots for the day to show that we care did you put a pair of Gumboots on today.
